Scaffolding Supervisor

This two-day course is designed to help site managers, supervisors, scaffolding inspectors, and scaffolding supervisors gain a comprehensive understanding of traditional scaffolding. It focuses on safety requirements, identifying faults, and recognizing hazards in both basic scaffold structures and system scaffolds.

The course covers the following topics in sequence:

  1. Basic scaffolding functions
  2. Scaffolding definitions
  3. Construction of scaffolds
  4. Ties and anchors
  5. Tube and fitting scaffolding components
  6. Practical inspection of scaffold
  7. Identification of scaffolding faults and hazards
  8. Safety requirements

The training methods employed include lectures, presentations, and practical examples. Delegates are expected to bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE), including a safety helmet, boots, gloves, and eye protection. Casual clothes are recommended for the classroom-based format.
